
Under the context of China’s ongoing marketization and modernization process, the Institute of Public Finance and Taxation is devoted to become a research think tank for fiscal reform in China. It strives to provide intellectual support in the following six aspects: supply-side structural reform, "The Belt and Road" strategy, free trade zone construction, fiscal budget reform, tax reform, and local government. Its recent achievements are as follows: 2 national research projects; 13 provincial research projects; 63 articles published in prominent domestic academic journals such as “Public Finance Research” and “Taxation Research”; 3 monographs/textbooks; 6 provincial/ministerial level outstanding achievements awards.
